Industrial and Domestic  Sewing Machine  Repair Training Courses

ABOUT OUR COURSES
  • Minimum age 18  No Maximum age

  • You will soon learn how to make adjustments and effective repairs
to sewing machines with the help of our fully trained instructors
and QWIK Fix manuals.

  • All tools and machines are supplied for the
duration of the courses.

  • Most courses commence at 10 am and conclude around 4pm daily

  • You will be  given a QWIK Fix  manual to refer to during  training and
    retain at  the end of the  course.

  • On successful completion of courses of 2 or more days duration you
    will be awarded  an Artizan
certificate of achievement at the level applicable to your course
day adjustments to full mechanics courses.

METHODOLOGY OF  COURSES
All courses of our are 95% hands on, so you must be have an
interactive nature and able to work with other students.
We only use  manuals as a support guide to reinforce information
given to you verbally by our instructors.
You will also from time to time be asked to watch  our short presentations
on VDU and interact with the questions from the presentations and the
instructors directives.
At all stages we use what we term as a "step system"  which allows you to go
forward to a certain point and then  back step to a stage decided by your
instructor . This ensures you cover all settings more than once and  will be
fully conversant with all settings on which the instructions were given.

WHAT YOU LEARN
It varies  depending on your needs .
You will be advised by our sales office staff who will ask you  questions related
to your business or training needs and then offer
the options to  suit those requirements.

INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors have many years of experience repairing  industrial and
domestic machines in factories,schools, colleges and our  workshop
throughout the UK and Europe.


ADDITIONAL TRAINING
Many of our students have returned to continue training after their initial
course to upgrade their new found skills and go on to run their own sewing
machine repair business or maintain machines for their company.

TESTS
To assist us in ascertaining the standard of our training instructors, and to
ensure that you have understood all instructions , we will ask you to
undertake written and practical hands on tests throughout your course.
You will not be asked to answer  questions on anything
that our instructors have not taught you.
