UNIVERSAL HOME STUDY COURSES
Our UNIVERSAL courses can be used to suit whatever make or model of machine you have to enable you
to use the modules of the course to suit your machine.
FOR EXAMPLE:
- Walking foot,wheel feed,needle feed.textiles,leather,sheepskin,canvas,saddlery,
- Straight stitch,zig zag
- Single needle,twin needle.
- Flat bed,cylinder arm,post bed.
- As long as its a lock stitch machine.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
- Once you have successfully completed one of our complete courses you should be competent enough to be able to use the knowledge to run your own
part time or even full time industrial sewing machine repair business.
WHAT YOU NEED
- An industrial lock stitch straight stitch sewing machine head and bench with a motor.
- A good set of screwdrivers,allen keys, adjustable spanner or 5mm to 20mm ring spanner set or socket wrench set
- A note pad,sewing materials,new needles and access to a computer
HOW OUR COURSES WORK
- On payment of the course tell us the make and style of the machine you have preferably send us a picture of the machine.
- We send you a full manual PLUS the 10 course modules and Parts CD .Each module has between 5 and 10 stages
- After a number of modules are completed you will send us notification that you have completed the modules and we will send you a short
YOU ARE FREE TO EMAIL US AT ANY TIME DURING THE COURSE TO ASK QUESTIONS ON AREAS OF THE COURSE YOU ARE UNSURE
ABOUT
- On completion of the course we will send you a final test to see if what you have learned is to the standard of a professional engineer
COURSE SUPPORT
- On receipt of payment we will send you a CD containing a parts catalogue along with a full manual and the 10 course modules
- Help and support is provided by email throughout the course by fully qualified sewing machine engineers
- You will be given an email address for your support engineer
- Emails will be answered within 24 hours of receipt MON to FRI 9-5 GMT
LOCK STITCH COURSE MODULES
- There are 40 modules in the lock stitch course, each consisting of between 5 and 10 sections
- A full fault finding chapter is included
- The first set of 4 modules will include removing all parts such as hook,feed mechanism,needle bar stitch length control
- A test will be required after completion of each set of modules before the next set is started to ensure you understand the course
- The next set of 4 covers Identification of parts,checking condition of parts.
- The next 4 modules will be concerning re assembly of some parts with various settings required to ensure they operate correctly
- This will continue throughout the course until you have successfully completed the re assembly and settings of the machine
- Finally you will have to test the stitching quality to a standard that has be achieved by all qualified engineers
