Single needle walking foot Lockstitch

Seiko produce some of the est heavy duty sewing machines in the world.This machine is suitable for leather, sheepskin, canvas, webbing in multiple layers.It is a large capacity bobbin top load bobbin with a vertical axis hook . Speeds of up to 2500 stitches per minute can be achieved using the correct type and size of thread with a needle size and type compatible to the product.

Singer 31K47

Straight stitch top feed

This is a Singer 31K47 commonly known as a walking foot although it is a little misleading as the foot that walks is sprung loaded and has limitations on what thicknesses you can sew without causing the outer foot catching the edge of the material causing small stitches.. However it is a good machine if you are a leather sewer or upholsterer. It has a side load bobbin case and utilises a recipracle shuttle to pick up the loop formed off the scrarf of the neldle
